There are several one-time actions you must complete in order to submit an application in response to American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding opportunities made available through the Florida Energy and Climate Commission:
1. Obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number at http://www.dnb.com/US/duns_update/. For DUNS customer assistance, please call 1-800-234-3867. Please note: If you already have a DUNS number, you do not need to apply for a new one.
2. Register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/. For CCR's Assistance Center, please call 1-888-227-2423. Please note: Applicants who are not registered with CCR should allow at least 10 days to complete this requirement. If you are already registered with CCR, you do not need to re-register, however CCR does require that registrants update their contact information annually.
3. The project must be compliant with all Florida environmental permitting requirements. These requirements include but are not limited to land use, wetlands, air quality, wastewater, and water consumption. The project must pass all existing permitting standards or it will not be candidate for ARRA funds.
