TALLAHASSEE - Governor Charlie Crist today announced the following appointments:

Florida Energy and Climate Commission

• Kathy Baughman McLeod, of Tallahassee, deputy chief of staff, Office of Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink, appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2008, and ending November 30, 2010.
• Nils J. Diaz, of St. Pete Beach, chairman, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2008, and ending November 30, 2010.
• Howell L. Ferguson, of Tallahassee, chief executive officer, Lykes Bros., appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2008, and ending November 30, 2011.
• Nicholas C. Gladding, of Sarasota, attorney, Ruden McClosky, appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2008, and ending November 30, 2009.
• Debra S. Harrison, of Marathon, Florida, director, World Wildlife Fund, appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2008, and ending November 30, 2011.
• Timothy T. Jackson, of Orlando, chief executive officer, Glatting Jackson Kercher & Anglin, appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2008, and ending November 30, 2011.
• James F. Murley, of Miami, director, Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions, appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2008, and ending November 30, 2011.
